Auditions for the following roles:
Jesse: 13 - 15 year old Aboriginal female. Large Role. Jesse is a bright, serious Aboriginal girl with dark hair and a lean athletic build. Jesse is intelligent, kind, thoughtful and has a talent for telling stories.
Two Feathers: Male, age 28 - 35 yrs. Large role. Acting experience required for this role.
Dave: Male, age 38 to 50 yrs. Small priniciple pole. Should be tall and/or tough looking. Experience an asset.

Due to the immense success of our 2006 Career and Trade Fair, Dreamspeakers Festival Society will once again provide organizations, corporations, individuals and educational institutions with an opportunity to "sell" their wares in Churchill Square, Edmonton, Alberta on June 7th and 8th, 2007.
The 2007 Career and Trade Fair is presented in conjunction with Dreamspeakers' International Aboriginal Film & Television Festival - a five day event filled with Aboriginal film producers, directors, actors and other film and television professionals.
Approximately 4,000 people will stroll through Churchill Square each day and view the trade fair offerings. Vendors will provide information on their products, services, funding sources and educational/employment opportunities related to the film industry. Other displays will include Aboriginal arts & crafts, cultural food selections and a performing Open Stage making it a broad Aboriginal cultural experience.

Thursday, June 7 will be the featured "Youth Day" of the Festival with entertaining and informative sessions for young storytellers, filmmakers, and actors. Youth (ages 15-20) will benefit from an outstanding lineup of events including: four films, two actor workshops, two agent workshop, guest speakers, and door prizes.
