VIP Gala & Walk of Honor
Dreamspeakers Festival Society proudly extends this invitation to an exclusive evening with actors, directors, producers, municipal, provincial, and national politicians and the public as we gather together to raise funds for the Aboriginal Walk of Honour in Edmonton -- a legacy of the Aboriginal Peoples who helped establish the foundation of this country.
As we journey from the past, to the present, and our future, guests can expect a celebration to remember, honouring the Aboriginal filmmaking contributions to Canada and enjoy a performance by The Jim Cuddy Band (of Blue Rodeo).
The Red Carpet welcome will highlight Aboriginal actors, directors, producers and the Walk of Honour recipients Wil Campbell, August Schellenberg, Jimmy Herman, Willie Dunn, and Gordon Tootoosis, who will be in attendance as a Morris Cardinal artistic rendition of "the Walk" is unveiled during the evening.
Tickets are available at a cost of $250.00 per person and include gourmet cuisine from Barbequed Bison and AAA Alberta Beef to fresh seafood dishes. Ticket price includes complimentary drinks.
